8200-084 JD Blade Worktable replacement

This part is only replacement wear part of the 8200-86-KIT which would be the full worktable insert for JD blades.

This is a specialty worktable (blade rest) is designed specifically for the John Deere Edge Extra Blades. This blade is unique because while it appears flat like a conventional mower blade, it in fact has a bend down the center of the blade down the length.  What occurs with this blade on a flat table (blade rest) is that the first around 2-3 inches will sit flat on the table but when you get deeper into the cutting edge the bend of the lift is lower than the cutting edge and it will ride up on the blade rest.  This causes the blade to have two different two different angles rather than one nice cutting edge angle along the length of the edge.

With this new worktable (blade rest) it allows you to keep the flat half of the blade supported along the length of the cutting edge giving you a even consistent cutting edge angle along the cutting edge.

This worktable insert is ONLY for the MAG-8200 Sharpener with a modular worktable system.
