How to Install the Integrated LED Task Light in a MAG-8200 Lawn Mower Blade Sharpener

First check to see if you have a 1 HP or 1/2 HP MAG-8200 Lawn Mower Blade Sharpener.

The 1 HP, MAG-8200 Sharpeners only require you to purchase the 8200-125 Integrated Task Light. The installation is very fast and easy. Follow the video below to install your light.

The 1/2 HP, MAG-8200 Sharpeners require a kit and a little more complicated wiring.  You will require 8200-306 kit that will have a length of cord and the bus connectors to wire the motor into the electrical box of the MAG-8200.  You will notice on your 1/2 HP MAG-8200 the on/off switch is on the motor rather than on the sharpener body.  The kit will have a plug to cover the hole where you switch was, and then a section of cord to bring power to the MAG-8200's electrical box.  The kit also has the little bus connectors and wiring required to relocate your on/off switch and install the light.
