Description

Secondary Variable Clutch Balancer 1" straight arbor

This secondary variable clutch taper was the most common in the industry for many years and will cover the greatest number of clutches. Magna-Matic variable clutch balancers have stress-proof steel spindles and instrument bearings found in our Gold Edition blade balancers. Each arbor is CNC machined, polished and hard chrome plated in-house by Magna-Matic to provide you with instrument grade tooling. The "L" shaped rod can be used to mount a run-out gauge.

Magna-Matic variable clutch balancers allow anyone to quickly balance a primary or secondary variable clutch of snowmobiles, ATVs, UTVs, and other power sports products.  The arbor of the balancer matches the taper of the variable clutch to lock on to the balancer, the arbor is precision calibrated and mounted on instrument bearings.  The heavy point of the variable clutch will rotate to the 6 o'clock position.  It is at this point you would remove a small amount of non-critical material. This is often done with a drill press near the outer diameter of the clutch.

LEAD TIME: Please note all 7000 series clutch (arbor) balancers are made to order - always allow at least 1 week lead time.  If you choose a "next day air" shipping service, this does not speed up production time, only the transit time.
